Apparently, the Rugby season is upon us. With your fella/hubbie/friend indulging themselves in their favourite pastime, why don’t you do the same. Drop them off at the nearest pub and start your retail therapy in your favourite boutique. Luckily for you there’s a pub situated very near each Fifi store!
So, while the men are getting their muscled legs out on the pitch, why not follow suit and get your toned pins into By Malene’s navy tailored trousers or Sonia Rykiel’s oh so cute blue knitted skirt.
If you do happen to get roped into the whole sports thing by the men in your life, we have amazing pieces in every teams colour.
ENGLAND – Laundry Industry have done a fab simple t-shirt with a bold red knitted bow on the front
SCOTLAND – Elizabeth Lau has created a beautiful, simple navy cotton blazer with cream piping
IRELAND – We have some lovely little green butterfly handbags that will be the most stylish mascot ever
WALES – A soft, gorgeous Naomi Harper red and cream cashmere jumper
FRANCE – Get your hands on a lovely mid blue See by Chloe jumper
ITALY – By Malene have created a stunning, light blue cardigan with cute pocket detailing
If you really don’t care enough to support one particular team but want an excuse for a great new addition to your wardrobe you can go neutral and still get into the sporting spirit of things with our fab Antoni and Alison ‘Sport Number One’ cashmere jumper. Go on, just use it to treat yourself. After all, the men certainly are. How many beers do they actually NEED to watch a match?
Chelsea Fifi Boutique Open Sundays

Choose a job you love and you’ll never have to work a day in your life! Well, we feel like that at Fifi Wilson but sometimes you need just one day to chill out, forget about stock, merchandising, window displays, appointments… you name it! and catch up on all those important little things like eating and sleeping.
I’m based at the Chelsea shop and although Clapham and Covent Garden are always open on Sundays, at Chelsea we’re very civilised and have the day off! Like all good things though it’s prone to change and does so every year when we reach December. It starts off with me not getting quite as many strokes, tickles, ear rubs, fondling and general adoration. The equilibrium suffers and the customers seem totally absorbed with what is in the shop rather than with what’s on the sofa. Moi – for the few of you who hadn’t noticed!
From then on it’s a downward spiral. The more rushing about and urgency I detect in everybody’s voices the more I know the Sunday opening is on it’s way. Well it’s come around once again and I’m in store for the next three Sundays! No more bed hopping in the morning, lounging with my bro and titbits all day long – no, back to the shop for a seven day week! Shouldn’t moan though there is a pay off! I start to notice the ear rubs return, everone relax becoming almost euphoric which all culminates in having a whole week of Sundays off in one go!
So it’s worth it and I’m well up to the Sunday challenge! My name’s not Elvis for nothing! The show must go on!

Moth Patch Solution For Horrid Holes

Little Moth Patches to save your beloved jersey from the dustbin. Moths have expensive taste! Don’t you hate the fact that they always seem to go for your favourite cashmeres and never the Christmas jersey Aunt Mopsie gave you. Moths are a fashion hazard. I have found the yellow sticky strips that the moths literally become fixed to are pretty good and there’s an environmentally friendly lavender spray from Bouchard which you fire at the little blighters and they fall to the ground. Let’s face it there are worse ways to go than lavender intoxication. Anyway, you’ll get a certain satisfaction seeking revenge for the mayhem they have wreaked on your wardrobe.
But what do you do if it’s all too late and the damage is already done? These little moth patches can be ironed directly onto your clothes to cover the hole with a degree of irony. You’re better to cover the hole with style rather than try to patch or darn it, and in doing so make it stand out like a sore thumb. These pretty little moth patches come in the shapes of the offending insect in attractive shades of grey, turquoise and lilac. Hopefully, by being able to make the best out of a bad situation with some humour, you won’t feel quite so bad if you spot the tell-tale signs.

I can 100% rely on Fifi Wilson... I think their buying is supremely clever and you will always find something unusual and not bank breaking.
