Missoni Maxi DressHot is the weather and hot you will look in one of our sizzling Fifi tops or dresses. We have one to fit all of your needs. Anyone visiting Ibiza in the near future ought to have a serious think about investing in a M Missoni maxi dress. Not only do they exude cool, but they will set off a tan like a flame to oil.

Right, so bright and breezy ain’t your thang? Maybe Carole Fakiel’s cream and white blouses could be just the ticket to sunny style. Simple and understated, these beauties ooze French sophistication with formidable quality. Due to the loose fit and fine cotton, you will literally feel as if you’re walking around topless.

For picnics and fun in the park, you could go all Alice in Wonderland in Manoush’s robe romantic panther dress. Can you think of anything more glamorous for tea and scones in the park!

For all you romantics how about Sula’s pastel smock style tops which we have in store. Slick on some mint green or pale blue nail varnish to complete this season’s Summer look.

Whatever you settle on, we can guarantee it will do it’s best, as shall we, to keep you feeling cool and looking hot!

MAS1010749006Listen up and listen good! We’ve got some winning military looks to keep you smart and bang on trend this season. Here are a few to give you a little taster.

A favourite for us has to be Manoush’s Offiicer dresses and jacketsManoush are setting the styles stakes high this season. They offer an imaginative and wearable combination of nautical and military. The sky blue and navy hues contrast beautifully against the red and cream piping and the shiny brass buttons offer a polished finish. Thanks to the A-line cut and cinched in waist, these pieces are not only eye catching but incredibly flattering.

Dress Gallery has also taken inspiration from the forces with their stud front mint dress. The studded front panel gives a utilitarian edge to the otherwise feminine cut. These dresses are great if you want a transitional day to night piece. Wear with Converse for a chic, relaxed daytime look and throw on a pair of killer heels and deep scarlet lippy for Sergeant Major with a sexy twist .

As usual we are extremely excited about the fab new clothes we have arriving all the time for you lucky ladies.

sonia zipThere is one piece that has grabbed everyone’s attention. Yes, you guessed it , the great Sonia by Sonia Rykiel Spring/Summer ‘10 tops or dresses with gargantuan, silver zips. You heard it from us, zips are going to be appearing here, there and everywhere this season and they’ll be bigger than ever.

We all agree that there is something incredibly saisfying about these oversized mechanisms. They are quirky, cool and fun. And the latter is exactly what we believe clothes should be about, fun and expressing yourself.

So the next time someone tells you to ‘Zip it’, you can enjoy smugly sliding the metal piece up and down while continuing to run the mouth! Currently available in all boutiques and online from next month.

banner combo copyHey there!  Hope everyone is coping with the fall in temperature. If you’re one of our lovely regulars you will know that we stock lots of unique, glam pieces to keep you cosy during these Winter months. However, it doesn’t stop there. We’ll forgive you for being distracted by the show-stoppers (Eg. Disaya pearl and faux fur dress and jacket) but our everyday, practical knits are just as fab.

For example, the little Odd Molly dusky pink jersey has great attention to detail. Check out the fringed pockets and tie at the neck. A lady who bought one yesterday tried it with her pale blue diesel jeans and cream converse, she really did look amazing, in such an everyday outfit too!

The oatmeal SET cardi is perfect for lazy days when you just want to throw on something comfortable and go. It’s simple, chic and so easy with jeans.

If you’re a ‘cold’ person and ‘indoor coat/jacket wearer’, you ought to have a look at our By Malene zip jumpers. I’ve been wearing mine all week and it has kept me so warm I can’t tell you! Zip up the top zip and you are guaranteed to have a permanently warm neck- Heaven! Choose between the darker or lighter grey versions and wear with literally anything. Try skinny jeans, thick leggings, black skirt, tights and boots. If you want to go for a quirky look, team it with bright tights-fuschia or turquoise would look fab!

Bensimon have done a great cream knit basic jumper, and as usual they’ve created another simple yet incredibly flattering shape. This one creates a lovely bright and fresh winter look.

So please do continue to admire and coo over our bejeweled, bedazzling pieces, but make sure you don’t miss out on purchasing all of our wonderful everyday pieces.

Enjoy the simple things in life…after all, they are the things you’ll appreciate every day!

Feelin’ Hot Hot Hot!

DPA910818606_1DPA910831500_1Here we go, Bonfire night is approaching and temperatures are plummeting. You will definitely need to wrap up warm, and we’ve got some great cosy pieces that will be reliable wardrobe staples for years to come.

Now a way to absolutely guarantee warmth is layers. Des Petits Hauts provide us with fine basics each season and this winter is no exception. Choose from a great selection of colours and styles and mix and match as you wish. They’ve also done a lovely thick knitted matching hat and scarf  that has been selling out since the plummet in temperatures.

Or if you’re after a thick warm coat, take your pick from the most individual, beautiful pieces. Our Manoush blue and cream coat has been incredibly popular so we are low on sizes, however, if you do manage to get your hands on one it is guaranteed to be a real keeper. Each of the three versions have lovely detailing such as a faux fur collar and navy grosgrain ribbon tie at the waist.

Or if your after something cool and a bit Mossy then you have got to go for the Disaya faux fur bomber jackets. Effortlessy cool yet contradictorily cosy, they look fab with skinnies and boots.

Or maybe the  black By Malene bow coat is more your style. This one is classic with a twist at it’s very best. The pleating at the back is simply perfect and whenever this one has been in the window on a mannequin we’ve had people flooding through the door.

If you’re after something slightly less bulky then you should probably go for the in between winter warmer; the cardi-coat. Thicker than any cardi you can find, but without the heavy feel of a coat, this Babbu knitted coat is by far the perfect compromise with the benefits of both. Also a fab alternative to black, the navy and cream is a bit different and great with dark denim.

Look hot, feel toasty!

The grocerIt’s Saturday yipee! Every single day in our Chelsea Green store we treat ourselves to the most amazing coffees ever from our favourite little spot ‘The Grocer on Kings’. It’s on Kings road itself just a street away from us, so pop in to grab a coffee and more. Freshly baked bread, great croissants and sweet treats. They also do fantastic take away meals you can literally just stick in the oven. Perfect for healthy, delicious food in no time, or if you’re entertaining guests and want a guaranteed success. Oh, and while you’re there make sure you grab a pain au chocolat, they’re the best in London.

The coffee should keep you warm for a good half an hour but for something to keep you cosy for years to come, check out our chunky knits from By Malene.

While in store don’t forget to say hello to Elvis the pug, yes he’s even in on Saturdays. Works like an absolute dog.
