By Malene TopThis Spring/Summer feeling blue is anything but sad with all the beautiful hues from bright aqua to baby blue and classic navy. We have styles feminine, preppy and nautical, and as always we have an array of designers sourced from all over the world, with prices to suit all budgets. So with By Malene, Sonia Rykiel, See by Chloe, Elizabeth Lau and many more, there really is no excuse not to jump on the blue bandwagon!

Taking the reins for this season’s bold trend is By Malene Birger. With achingly cool pieces including cardigans and sweaters adorned in bright colours and defined, detachable shoulder pads, making a style statement could not be easier, simpler or more wearable.

Favourites of ours include By Malene Birger’s cropped Sibrila cardigan with cute grosgrain ribbon detailing. Sonia Rykiel’s simple yet striking blue jumper with dusky pink necktie and See by Chloe’s adorable sky blue bow dress.

Fashionistas Jasmine Guinness,  Ashley Olsen,  Anne Hathoway and many more have already been papped looking blue and fabulous during high profile events this year. So, pop in to one of our boutiques or click onto our online store and see for yourself. We guarantee there will be something that will have you quivering with excitement!

Antoni and AlisonApparently, the Rugby season is upon us. With your fella/hubbie/friend indulging themselves in their favourite pastime, why don’t you do the same. Drop them off at the nearest pub and start your retail therapy in your favourite boutique. Luckily for you there’s a pub situated very near each Fifi store!

So, while the men are getting their muscled legs out on the pitch, why not follow suit and get your toned pins into By Malene’s navy tailored trousers or Sonia Rykiel’s oh so cute blue knitted skirt.

If you do happen to get roped into the whole sports thing by the men in your life, we have amazing pieces in every teams colour.

ENGLAND – Laundry Industry have done a fab simple t-shirt with a bold red knitted bow on the front

SCOTLAND – Elizabeth Lau has created a beautiful, simple navy cotton blazer with cream piping

IRELAND – We have some lovely little green butterfly handbags that will be the most stylish mascot ever

WALES – A soft, gorgeous Naomi Harper red and cream cashmere jumper

FRANCE – Get your hands on a lovely mid blue See by Chloe jumper

ITALY – By Malene have created a stunning, light blue cardigan with cute pocket detailing

If you really don’t care enough to support one particular team but want an excuse for a great new addition to your wardrobe you can go neutral and still get into the sporting spirit of things with our fab Antoni and Alison ‘Sport Number One’ cashmere jumper. Go on, just use it to treat yourself. After all, the men certainly are. How many beers do they actually NEED to watch a match?

Treat Your Feet!

Yay! There is cause for celebration. The snow has cleared and the temperature has risen (If only very slightly) Banish the wellies, Ugh boots (Sorry! Ugg fans) and any other clumpy styles of footwear  to the basement. Put a spring in your step with these chic, elegant By Malene pointy shoes.

By malene shoeThey are flat, comfortable, simple and stylish. If you are going to treat yourself to something special this January, make sure it’s these.

Not only are they absolutely beautiful, but they’re practical and classic enough to be a real wardrobe staple for years to come. They will go with everything and anything, are incredibly comfortable with a lovely vintage feel to them. The pointy toe is a refreshing alternative to the everyday round-toed ballet pump. They will elongate your line, lengthen your leg and are one of  the most flattering shoe shapes around. Best thing about them? They are no longer the original price of £199 but £99.50!

Now slip them on and imagine yourself fluttering through fields of daffs listening to the birds and the bees….aaah!
